Step 1:

Step 2:
Forms to Make
(4) large egg-shaped forms, (2) small spheres, and (2) tiny spheres.
Step 3:
Flippers
Add two of the egg forms to the sides of the body. Join the two pieces together by smoothing them onto the larger form with your finger.
Gently squeeze the ends of each flipper to make them pointy.
Step 4:
Flukes
Add the other two egg forms to the back of the body. Join the two pieces together by smoothing them onto the larger form with your finger. Make the ends pointy by pinching them together with your fingers.
Step 5:
Tusk
Poke the wooden stick into the top of the head. Then cover it with the clay.
Gently squeeze the ends of each flipper to make them pointy.
Step 6:
Eyes
Add the two small spheres onto the head and gently press them down. Place the tiny spheres inside each of the eyes to create the pupils.
Step 7:
Balance
Wiggle the body back and forth on a flat surface until it sits without tipping over.
Step 8:
Smooth & Dry
Use your finger tip and a little water to smooth out any bumps on your sculpture. Allow the sculpture to dry for 24 hours before painting.
Step 9:
Paint
Paint the body, eyes and mouth.
Step 10:
Sparkle
Add a little touch of glitter to the tusk to give it a magical sparkle.
