Since 1959, ACTIVA® CelluClay™ Papier Mache has been a loyal companion of many teachers, being a key through the creative process of making a sculpture for any level. CelluClay™ Instant Papier Mache is made of 100% recycled paper and is easy to clean up with soap and water. With one bag of ACTIVA® CelluClay™ Papier Mache 5 lb. You can make up to 13 fishes (1 cup, 6-8 oz per project).
Materials Needed:
- 1 bag of CelluClay™ Papier Mache 5 lb
- Activ-Tools™ Clay Tools Set
- Water
- Ziploc bag
- Brushes and acrylic paint
- Recycled water bottle
- Scissors and masking tape
- Recycled Cardstock paper
- Stretch fiber and a wooden dowel
Step 1:
Mix 1 cup of CelluClay with ½ cup of warm water inside of the ziploc bag.
Step 2:
Knead the mixture with fingers or a roller until it reaches the consistency of clay.
Step 3:
Draw, cut and tape the fins to the plastic bottle.
Step 4:
Start applying CelluClay to the water bottle and the fins by using an Activ-tool or your fingers.
Step 5:
Allow to air dry for 24 hours.
Step 6:
Once it’s completely dried you will notice CelluClay is super lightweight and it dries to bright white.
Step 7:
Start painting as desired!

Use stretch mobile and a wooden dowel for creating a mobile!
